http://www.yelp.com/biz/chinatown-coffee-co-washington#hrid:BClWUASVChnh5J8SJxkx-g“I just moved to the neighborhood and was excited about checking this place out. And I was not disappointed.
Wonderful atmosphere, it wasn’t too busy (okay, middle of the workday, but still…) and there were still copies of City Paper around on a Friday afternoon (most places are empty on Thurs). This is definitely going to become a regular for me for a couple reasons:- Prices are good. Don’t want to pay $5 for espresso? Me either, so I have that on my radar now
- This is my killer - I’m a tea drinker. But I will NOT pay someone to put a teabag in hot water for me for $3. I got a pot of looseleaf tea, and they even gave me some soymilk when I asked, since there’s not a container out (I don’t think they charged extra either, since it wasn’t in a drink per se, but on the side).
- That pot of tea was $3 whereas a teabag would be that or more at another place.
Great.”Met @rebeccaames here to say hi … also very excited for her birthday on Monday (kayaking :) ). I should take pictures. But I hear kayaking’s on water…not friendly to cameras.
